The dice rolls have been around for years. It's just become more mainstream since the coldcard incident
Post by Ironshirtz
i've been around for years,
never heard of anyone rolling dice many times
apart from coldcard suggesting it
bashing the keyboard provides a lot more randomness
but then most in BTC are tards
so if it's a BTC thing, then i can understand.

The dice roll thing is on bitaddress, and that's from the early days. I made a dice roll ordinal a few months back. There are a few sats for the taking. I haven't checked if anyone managed to sweep them yet
100,000 sats still sat in wallet
nobody cares about a buck fifty
I am not saying it is insecure
I am saying it is inferior to simply bashing the keyboard which is also much quicker
fk not even a buck fifty
just 1.5 cents lol
I thought bitaddress done, move your mouse?
iirc
using dice is sub optimal as it's limiting to 1-6 or 2-12
The main way is to move the mouse, but it also has an input for dice rolls.
Hitting 1-6 99 times in a row probably is quite high. I haven't done the calculations
not saying it is not secure
i am saying it is inferior and a waste of time
when simply bashing the keyboard or moving your mouse is superior
I did this back in march
