The big issue is that this was rolled out before they have gone through it all. Making money from these free public memes (as Twetch listed them) could lead to copyright infringements. The other thing is that anybody can take any content, mint it and put it on the market, RelayX wild west style, and we all know how this ended. If you don't have a smart automated system to check copyrights, dublicates and quality, it's going to be a mess.

It’s a total mess, there is no authentic creations, copy write, major spam not the good kind, attracts scammers, here lemme just crop this already existing meme and make it my own, let me slap any junk together and fill the lib with crap that hides or takes up too much time and space from finding high quality meme.. I like fun and all but when creating a market, there are a few things you have to keep in mind to avoid getting yourself into trouble and attract many scammers and grifters. I don't think meme market is the big business idea anyway, I was fine when we just had a meme library without money involved.

Exactly why I never touched RelayX with a 10 foot pole, but this concept is even worse.. Emphasis on the grifters and scammers. And yes, if there was a proper way to do it maybe, but no relation to the market. For the first time ever I turned off one click payments, I wasn’t paying the fees for using those memes beyound what using a normal meme would cost or just making my own if anything. It’s definitely not the big idea either. I like fun also, but this is more like scam / spam vibes
The other thing is, that it's not separated from the twonks market which causes unnecessary confusion. Then there is the thing that there is no payment when somebody uses your meme, but adds text, which is silly, kind of... all in all it's a rather complex thing, which shouldn't be just thrown out to fuck around and find out imao.

This is my issue with it. It cheapens the twonks. It's noisy, non-scarce clutter.
