America oil refineries are not setup to refine the type of oil that Venezuela has in abundance. Does anyone know if American refineries are being converted to handle such oil?

I don't think this is correct. Gulf coast refineries were set up for heavy crude. Capacity might be a different story

Yeah you're probably right, I was watching some prepper channel the other day and he was saying most of the refineries aren't sent up for it. It would be interesting to know if some of the other refineries are being converted and if it started before the Venezuela invasion.
