When people say stupid stuff - you should screenshot it. Save it. Don't let them forget that they said it.

We need to collectively make people accountable for saying stupid stuff online. Especially anons. At least until when everything is recorded on blockchain. Then we won't need to screenshot anymore.

Because then we would all be able to look up their stupid posts and the internet archive way-back machine will be obsoleted.

Everything public will forever be traceable, indexed, and accessible by everyone.

If this future reality scares you... then you had better start changing your view of the world and how you will be able to operate in it as a citizen, as Pandora's box has been opened.

We are going back to the age of the 1980s in terms of what is socially acceptable public behaviour. -- and this is a good thing.

For those of you who freak out and think that this will lead inevitably to bad actors threatening to post private conversations publicly as a threat or blackmail device... fear not. Remember that the sword of transparency cuts both ways. If you leak private information, the fact that YOU leaked it will forever damage your reputation.
Furthermore information leaked anonymously will not have as much credibility as it does today. Because all public information will be signed by the speakers themselves.
So, if someone leaks private conversations, it will not be publicly verifiably signed by the author, and in the future, only content signed directly by the author with digital identity will be allowed on main stream platforms and trustworthy. AI and deepfakes will make "judging truth by its cover" impossible.

Anon info, misinformation, bad science, and extremist opinions will be delegated to the fringe category of rumour at best.

This is the dawn of the Age of Reason.
