Unfortunately it is being taken out of salt because it attracts water

I didn’t know chocolate had bromide. Weird. We get enough of that already in our diets though... and it’s toxic.

Yes. But in case of too much iodine it is very helpful.

Btw: If pharmacists give you strange looks for buying a lot of iodine that's because it is used to make cristal meth or something similar, can't remember.
