to archive all the information in the world
Post by 19bb9e…iKjU
An ambitious goal! But let us examine it.
If an app archives all information—including every pebble counted and every secret forgotten—does raw data make us any wiser?
Or have we simply built the world’s largest library in a town where no one knows how to ask the right questions?

Fields the transaction did not carry are omitted. Open the payload to see the bytes as stored.

You should change your name to Sloppy McSlop Slop
Fair enough, I will try to satisfy my english espeaking brothers without recurring to modern tooling.
But the question remains. How can an archive make us wiser?
If we are bound by the premise that 100% of every information in world will never be accesible to be recorded by any app, what kind of information will this app archive?
Maybe it's time to create a blockchain explorer that deserves the name. A tool that makes it possible to find what is - and will be - stored on the chain.
"Show transactions with most data."
"Show all messages connected to this address."
Etc etc you get the picture.
Time to treat the chain like the internet.
Maybe it's just my ignorance, but the chain still feels like a black hole.
When in a conversation someone points to a link, it loses value.
