Why share your banking struggles here instead of just freezing the card and getting a new number?

I contacted my credit card company.
They said it is difficult to cancel the amount already charged.
They also told me that even if I canceled the charge this time, there is a possibility that I will be charged again after next month because it is a subscriber, so I should change my credit card number.
