A funny thing the psychiatrist said to me yesterday was something like "Don't you want empathy/I'm trying to show you empathy" but her empathy was "You're delusional and I'm empathetic towards that".
I said sure I want empathy, FOR WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. I don't want people's misguided empathy because they think I'm delusional, I want empathy that seriously fucked up things happened to me by the state and other actors.
Why would I want "empathy" that is merely "I'm sorry youre crazy" when I'm not fucking crazy?
