My gut feeling: if I can explain that I actually do have a doctoral degree, that my productions are designed to explain the why behind subject material from my POV, and I have nothing to do with the similarly named TV show, I think it should slide.
Fair point, maybe have that as a disclaimer or something, should cover it. Seen it done in other videos before.
