thats not why they banned discord. they banned discord because the government was worried about children being groomed and young people being exposed to violent extremist groups on discord. the ban was only for a few hours though....which is interesting lol
but those reasons discord was banned is also why they want facebook banned

they banned discord because about the games. But they also want to ban facebook because they've been a laughing stock on that social media. All governments are fed up and they like they are lost to Filipino people and don't respect them. Otherwise, they just said it was for a good deed for children but its not. Filipinos always fight each others there also because of differents candidates in government which it's really weird and toxic. But i bet its good they'll just ban it forever for other reasons and safety of kids also. Facebook is like a porn page anyway

theyre all toxic, they all give young people bad influence and lower their concentration span

Nah i told, im at facebook scrolling daily, those government here are been Bending the law many times. They don't care what the law is, the situation here is not good on what's happening here rn in politics. They do whatever they can just to end all kind of support for a 1 person that they've been trying to squeeze her to jail but they can't do it.
All social media is really toxic to children and i do hope all parents will not let gadgets until they are 12y.o or more. Also its true, especially the roblox, a lot of kids here been shooting in their schools. I can't count how many of it happens now here in PH. And its worse coz they are still in elementary and killed a lot their schoolmates🙁
unfortunately all governments are corrupt and theres fuck all us general population can do about it
I agree social media and certain games are toxic, but again another unfortunate thing is that the people designing and creating them dont give a fuck as long as theyre making money
