How much would it cost to put a 4.3GB video file on chain? Would love to put my new film, A HELICAL, on bsv but I imagine it would be very expensive.

What the chain says

I try'd like to do a 9,75MB on Bitcoin files😅
I think it said about $5 to do so. Only goes to 10MB

It will be expensive, but much, much easier due to IMB. Check out add.bico.media where can drag and drop files and upload with one swipe.

Ryan, when is the next scaling upgrade set for BitCoin SV?

The block size is unlimited. What more scaling upgrade do you want?

😅 well I've been pretty busy and haven't been paying as close attention the last 6 months, and i was unsure if it was completely unrestricted at this point.

you could probably put a lower resolution version onchain like 720p, and use strong video compression like H265. This should reduce the size and hence the cost of upload quite a lot

then use crowdfunding or resell the watching right, you could get in contact with https://beta.ecat.media/ that is working on that
