or suppose you believe prices will rise… they tend to rise in an exponential manner… so given current prices it MAY make sense to liquidate your commons for 70% of mint price so you have the funds to go buy a rare or epic since those multiples are unusually low… I think this is pretty common for mints as you get a flood of unwanted inventory from ppl trying to get an exotic… then slowly those are accumulated and the supply drops again bringing prices back to >= mint
