While it might seem like an appeal for people to "be nice," it is also an attempt to make the case that ethical behavior can be objective and scientifically grounded in ways that promote the flourishing of individuals and societies.

Science cannot even make broccoli taste like pizza, so how is it supposed to figure out your stomach?
