A very egregious one. It's one thing to to sell to someone you can see face to face, but when you sell anonymously you are selling your mystery-meat unregulated powerful drugs to teenagers, rapists, violent criminals, the mentally ill etc.

He was knowingly and deliberately operating out side the law and enabling others to also do so. Would you consider Silk Road blameless if someone had bought poison or a nuke and wiped out the population of a city with their purchases?
