Gentiles only means of the nations, or non believers in the one true God. Israel whored herself with other gods and they became gentiles. The lost sheep are gentiles. All are subject to the mosaic law. If you are in the covenant you are subject to the law

The law is a school master to leed us to Christ. We can't wash out face with broken glass. The Christians are set free from the mossaic law through the blood. They have their own commands and traditions given by Paul, the apsotle of the Gentiles.
