Do you still pay for cable?
I haven't for years and can't go back. I pay for streaming content. Free has a hidden price. I pay here and use it more than twitter
We won't really know until we use it

You pay here but you also have the opportunity to gain some back, possibly breaking even or better.
Volunteering to pay on top of internet access to consume web content without possibility of recoup is going to be a hell of an uphill fight.

I think honestly from my perspective that paying $0.005 for a tap on a search engine to provide me the best information according to my voluntary shared privacy info is a timesaver both in less distractions (no ads) & on point or I go (biz) somewhere else.
That bitcoin browser is going to enable you to turn ads on, and you will be making money the more you consume web content.
And how many microseconds until someone releases the first browsing script that constantly loads random sites to 'view' ads and take their money? Sounds good, I'll let it run at night while I sleep.
Haha fair. These are all opportunities for the right entrepreneur. I’m looking forward to what humans create.
Twetch pays both ways through active human interaction. I will. not. interact with ads. I will not whore my eyeballs out for micromoneys. I'll walk away from the whole web before I'm forced to do that.
I'm not opposed to making $ off Ad revenue
Probably more likely to pay a premium for not having ads
And some people do. But the gap between where the ad has been 'viewed' by the browser and where it's physically drawn on your screen is neither controlled by them nor monitored. That's where the new adblocker will sit.
And I'll have one. Because fk ads.
I wouldn't pay per page to read a book either, especially after I'd bought access to it. Imagine paying for netflix and also paying to watch anything on it.
I don't see the benefit to the one forking over the minimoneys. Is it a self-inflicted time tax?
