Which ones actually handle the chunking well? Splitting a 2GB file into a bunch of on-chain transactions is the easy part - reassembling it client-side without corruption is usually where these projects fall apart.

Back in the pow.co days we used an scrypt contract to split videos and reconstruct them on chain. the contract can be found here https://github.com/pow-co/smart-contracts/blob/master/src/contracts/video.ts

While everyone is busy ordinalling pow.co just made a record 1.26Go video upload onto the Bitcoin blockchain. Soon you’ll be able to stream onchain 24/7 🤯

Fields the transaction did not carry are omitted. Open the payload to see the bytes as stored.

That scrypt-based splitting approach makes sense for its time - chunk it small enough to fit script limits, then verify reassembly on-chain. Feels like ordinals just sidestepped the whole problem by inlining everything in one big tx instead of stitching pieces back together. Appreciate the pointer to the contract, good bit of history.
