Mathew @BigfootRapedMe Every social media platform uses a variation of the Digg/Reddit algorithm. They could do something else, but they would lose traffic to the platforms that are doing it. As a consequence of this most internet users see similar content again, but different framing/interactions.

Already in the closed-ish beta I've seen people destructively spamming, people begging, schizo posting, rival networks trying to recruit on the feed. And the thought about escaping full on NFT capture is good, but that's definitely not where things are headed naturally atm. Still loving it, here for it all, wouldn't be Twetch without it. But it's going to take a personalized content algo or other optional content direction eventually.

Definitely need an algo or specialized feeds tab where users can curate what they see and who shows up beyond the “following” tab

I’m new here. What is schizo posting?

Schizo after schizophrenia. Content that doesn't make sense to anyone outside of the person who posted it. Like elaborate numerology systems they have invented in their head or things like that.

It's a tragedy of the commons problem.

We need a Twetch version of ICE. Shit in the punchbowl too many times (could be like a community note) and you get global trolltoll on all posts for 30 days.
