Creg is kinda like Odysseus except when he tried to return as Satoshi he just autistically demanded everyone call him Satoshi instead of having any aces up his sleeve. It might genuinely have been the nail in the coffin for big block bitcoin cus now its even more obscure to everyone outside, and any rhetoric around aligning a protocol with Satoshis writings will forever be tainted by the failure of CSW and BSV

"Alright. I'll sign you fools, but having the keys doesn't mean legal ownership of coins, do you understand that? Now let's get this over with."

Him having the keys and not being Satoshi would be as astonishing as having the keys and being Satoshi. Even if he somehow got to set a law precedent, it would just fork and 90% of hashpower and price would choose cryptography over corruptible or faulty judges
