I'm happy to say I now have a beginning, working knowledge of both Python and JavaScript/Node.
I am ready and able to help you learn either of these languages so that you can start building on Bitcoin for yourself.

I also have experience with Flask on Python, and am starting work on Express in JS.
My primary goal is to be able to help others to start building for themselves, and my secondary goal is to build something for myself, too.
