Never been married. For that exact same reason. It's either deep, super level happy companionship or alone and happy. Everytime I've tried to be with someone, the amount of well being goes down so much it's not worth it. If it goes up, then I'll reconsider.

The ability be fulfilled alone makes one very picky.
