POETRY ALERT - The Code of Life

Tree roots dive deep beneath the river bed,
Eyes and ears commence in making sense of his surroundings,
Tuning in and initiating thought,
Stimuli in search of sustenance,
Response is a reflection of consciousness.

Natural intelligence, pure and instinctive,
Life is born with the code to live,
Your hair grows like the trees that know to drop their leaves before the winter snow,
Then I should know why my heart is feeling lonely,
I'm craving company from all I love so dearly...
The time has come to call my soul family.

Flowers and leaves reach for sunlight,
Pupils dilate in the dark of night,
As Earth orbits and rotates the seasons change while birds migrate,
Consistently changing and forever learning from experience,
Life is an expression of Nature's intelligence.

Everything is happening while your pages are turning,
Your mind is thinking from within a creature that's living,
Ignore the thoughts that aspire to control everything,
Thought can't comprehend keeping up with spiritual programming.
