if you want more accurate data of the twetch population, this is a better method, no? else you have voluntary response bias in your sample… but I think you should have to meet some criteria to be able to participate and then ya put a max $ limit on the polls…. like maybe it should be you can post a poll and make the "bucket" $1 and then at the expiration of the poll all participants (n) are paid out $1/n
Could even do 50/50… poll is 0.02 to submit:
Creator payout = n * 0.01
Participant payout = (n*0.01)/n
