I think when people talk about any ism- which is both an ideology and a system of society, its better to start with values.
People can often find some middleground on those. They have different view of the causes of issues, then diverge more on solutions.
My concern is young people who are encouraged to look whatever bad that happened by other people and build moral reasoning from that, instead of within themselves. That brings them to judgement of others, which leads to conflict. Introspection is important
