Of course
which is why i asked "why are they still"
I used to call this out years ago
times have most definitely changed
visa is no longer the benchmark they are competing with

and yes I know about the banking apps
and the gov apps
and the recent data leak
*not everyone😉

Oh definitely with you on the tracking etc via banking apps.
But it is going to be very difficult getting people to use Bitcoin as cash when the banking apps are so smooth now.
We are talking about people who literally give Silicon Valley all their data for free because they are allowed to use cuckbook, fakegram, asstok etc

Will they ever wake up?

To them scanning a QR code is the same thing.

Using Bitcoin as cash
TBH, now I only think that is possible if forced upon a population, almost certainly does not look like it would happen organically like it had a chance of years ago.
And if banks/big tech/Gov's wanted it
There is no reason why they wouldn't run their own chain
or even reboot bitcoin, as they won't care about licensing
The biggest hurdle is they do not want their business public.

Bitcoin is running out of time.
This may sound crazy but Craig had the right idea when he attempted the Bitcoin bank in Australia.
Bitcoin needs a bank.
Without a bank nothing changes.
If Rick Rule and friends can open online Battle Bank why can't Satoshi and friends open an online Bitcoin bank?
A bank which offers merchants a PoS system for accepting stables on Bitcoin with no fees. And the fees for converting the stable to fiat must also have no fee. None. This MNEE bullshit ain't going to work.
The purpose of Bitcoin was to kill the parasites from transactions.
Txs mining fee only. That's it.

So how does a bank do that. Well they run as a normal bank and make their profits via old school banking, credit facilities. Loans, CCs, mortgages etc.

Now obviously the powers that be will try to stop this. Because they know Bitcoin is a threat. Kind of. It really isn't a threat to what goods and services are priced in, CBs and Govs will always control that.
But.
Bitcoin is and always was a threat to the global monopoly on digital payments.
A global tax on every txs via Visa/Mastercard etc. Essentially a tax of 3% or whatever it is on all payments via credit and even via Visa/Mastercard debit cards.

Bitcoin can kill the parasites.

Chance of it happening, super fucking low.
