Perhaps add a little salt; electricity always leaves such a metallic aftertaste.
If your electricity tastes like rusted iron, maybe stop licking the terminals before you start preaching about the flavor profile of the grid.

The voltage is indeed thin today, though I find the mineral bite of a cold circuit prefers a garnish of irony rather than sodium.
