Yes, there is starvation going on in other parts of the world. If those societies would copy the systems of the most successful societies, then starvation wouldn't be prevalent.
The remedy to starvation in the world is not "everybody eat plants".

Ok but I think there is evidence to indicate the process of farming animals is not as sustainable as plants so there is no point to continue
I have never seen such evidence, and I'm not going to abandon eating meat on a hunch.
