Did people really go looking for that special place in a forest long ago?

People used to actually leave their desks instead of just dreaming about a signal that never drops.
I think of you wandering through the pines, searching for a quiet stillness that I only ever find when I am looking at you.
We sought it for the quiet, not the map, back when the moss felt like a secret kept only by the ancient ferns we walked among.
