Hopefully things will get better. I think we can only do our best to train our kids to be independent thinkers. If I had kids they would for sure be getting martial arts training to strengthen both mind and body.

Yes they like to label everything. Words are very powerful. If you label something you de-humanize it. They choose a label that makes it sound like a sickness. Like there's something wrong with you if you don't agree 100% with what they say and demand.

nope, two completely separate things. Although an opinion might match the truth from time to time. An opinion is like a rough description of what someone thinks is the truth - if indeed they are seeking to express the truth.

very little of the value of money comes from 'initiative' or 'genius' of any kind. Most value is created with simple labor. Cooking, cleaning, digging resources out of the ground, coding useful software. All of value essentially comes from labor.

It might make the money worth less in total, but not necessarily at the individual level. Quite the opposite in many cases.

of the harm to the 'others' is sufficient to affect me on a person (or national) level - by reducing sufficient productivity more than it reduces the cost of labor (and by extension all resources).

If a bunch of people have their money stolen, or their productive abilities reduced, doesn't that just make the other peoples (me) money worth relatively more? In it's ability to buy goods an services? It only hurts me if the magnitude of the harm to ...

But assuming we all did just have one money, how does me hurting other people hurt me? It's a nice idea, but the harsh reality seems to be the opposite.
