You can sign WITH your identity, but you can’t sign to prove your identity. That makes no sense.
Small amounts you don’t need to prove. If I have $100 in my pocket, or even $1000, no one will ask me to prove that I didn’t steal it.
What good is a signature if I don't know who it is from?
Further, if someone learns how to forge my signature, does that prove to the world that they are me?
