No one knows the total supply of BTC - many bitcoins are lost forever or cant be spent because they are tied to heroin and sex trafficking - Gold is much more fungible and has physical properties BTC cannot match

I don't follow it much, I don't hold any DeFi tokens or instruments. But the genie is out of the bottle. Even if it all goes to zero in a spectacular crash, they will just start it all up again the next day like nothing happened.

In 2013 when I got back on my feet (lost everything in the 2008 housing crash) I bought 10 stocks. 3 of my best performers since then Apple, Home Depot and Skyworks. I did NOT buy Bitcoin ☹️
