Sure. Personally I dont think it will happen on purpose.
It will destroy the Bitcoin brand.
80%+ of people buying BTC dont know what it means to "scale a blockchain".
To them, the word "scale" means to measure food or whatever.
All they know is digital gold and "price go up".
Unless there's a sudden catastrophic event, BTC is going up..
