As we head into a Bitcoin world, I think it's important that we don't misuse the word Capitalism, because there's a lot of unjustified hate for the word. Bitcoin is Capitalism unbound.
Agreed, the post modernists are hardly the first. Noah Webster has a lot to answer for. It's been going on since we started passing information to one another. I mention them because with the advent of the internet the rate of change has increased to 1/2
Now we're getting somewhere. The current system is better described as mercantilism or state corporatism. Free trade is necessary for capitalism, plus the free movement of people and capital.
