I'm saying this because costly signals aren't widely understood even among bitcoiners. I think Boost needs to be translated to the wider public through something more instinctual, something that doesn't require thought.
Don't you think people first need to be aware that they should be attracted to a costly signal? Peahens aren't cognizant of the process, but it only works because of a biological imperative. How do you get Boost to work on those unfamiliar with the idea?

Gold is sort of a scam, its just a dumb metal. It does absolutely nothing, but that's precisely why its important. It doesn't change, only our perception of it changes. Which makes it a useful measuring stick for our sentiment towards everything else.
