my addtl take here - the forces that want to degrade so-called morality want people to believe in concepts and apply them to groups in judgement rather then truly understand, integrate, and claim one's own moral compass. These forces keep us divided.

In my view moral superiority is impossible. Morals come from within so they are never 'gone', only felt, obscured, found, or restored.

My heart goes out to families and the vulnerable. This can't be easy on them. My kids are grown and parents are passed but I can definitely imagine. Many families live in apartments with no backyard as they continue to shut down parks/beaches. It's cruel.
