Thanks, but I think the notion that Bitcoin can't be seized or banned (or at least severely restricted) is fanciful.
I don't agree with where our society is at, right now. But Bitcoin isn't the solution to that, even though many have said it is.
Actually your question was more of an accusation that I would choose "lining my pockets" over truth.
The answer to that specific question is Yes. But I'm not avoiding it, I'm disagreeing with your premise.
I disagree with the binary options in this question. We're already well on our way to living in a techno-dystopia with or without Bitcoin.
Arguing about the protocol that dystopia lives on is like asking whether using NTSC or PAL means better TV shows.
Technology is non-thinking, non-ideological, equipment. The rest is politics. And as Craig Wright said, political problems require human solutions, not technological ones.
Bitcoin won't create a dystopia and it won't save us from one either.
