What is a Tendie?
As long as 'necessary...'
What I like about capitalism is that it solves the exact amount of problems it creates.
Even if you don't believe in God, dismissing the Bible as a book full of made up stories is ignorant. The ultimate distillation of human morality. The foundation of the greatest society ever built. Thousands and thousands of years of time tested wisdom.
Today in Rmaich, Lebanon. Christians celebrating Palm Sunday. While government is destroying all, small communities remain stronger than ever.
This is what happens when a civilisation becomes displaced and uprooted. Exactly this.
🤦🏻♂️
Ok, those exist? Noted 😅
Interesting, will look into that!
Will be switching to mineral water in glass bottles soon. What is a good alternative for toothpaste?
Got it, cool. Contemplating such a move for the future. Eastern Europe comes to mind, before it's gone.
Where are you from originally?
Haha fair enough. Just curious.
Oh yes there are certain ex-soviet countries that I love. Lithuania, Estionia for example. Very appealing to me for multiple reasons. Never been to Russia, would love to visit.
Spot on and already in full effect. This will go from bad to worse faster than the common man in the street will be able to fathom.
Which country/part of the world are you in if I may ask?
Military veterans standing down and saluting, protesting for freedom, squaring off with riot squad. There is a difference between power and authority.

True, thank you brother.
Having the ability to recognize basic historical patterns, to draw parallels with today's world and deeply caring about it, is exhausting and utterly depressing. I wish I was better at finding meaning closer to home.
Meanwhile our government has gone full blown totalitarian, bashing in the heads of peaceful protesters. As said this before: civilisations collapse because people can't remember that they do, and can't recognize when they do. Hence the eternal cycle.
Reason is they currently only see the upside of being in the EU, which is true. Few understand (lol) that this will change rapidly and irreversibly.
They have and I have been pleading this for years. It is fundamentally a collectivist system. I have been honing my reasoning to have more effective debates but it seems people simple do not want to see it, or want to compulsively play it down.
I keep telling them, if you want to see your future, look at Western-Europe. They somehow think supranational immigration pacts, redistribution of wealth through Euro and 'Green Deal' and losing all sovereignty as a nation state does not apply to them.
And one of the most frustrating things is when discussing it with friends from Eastern-Europe, ex-Soviet states, literally one generation out of the USSR, who cling to the EU as some kind of savior.
Today is election day in The Netherlands, probably the most important election in my lifetime. Very leaky voting system of course. If ever there was a use case for an immutable ledger....
My friend's one year old daughter needs to do a COVID-test tomorrow because of a running nose. If they don't comply the will be denied access do daycare for a full week or more. Demonic.
Unpopular opinion: O'hagan did an excellent job writing "The Satoshi Affair". It's probably the most objective, realistic, detailed, in-depth look at both the characters involved, their motivations and the timeline of events we will ever get.
Typo-fest-correct: Dutch government has gone full blown totalitarian and reached new depths today. Watch a policeman dressed as a civillian casually throw a woman against a driving police bus:

This tweet made very little sense, in multiple ways. Quite the achievement.
Ayre has been a virtue signalling leftist since I follow him and that Dan guy once went ballistic after I calmly pointed out the factually undeniable similarities between the EU and collectivist systems of the past. And yes no locked protocol.
"Crypto communities" are cringe, creepy and scammy. Been screwed over thrice troughout the years. I just like Twetch, that's it. When I invest it is in real life assets.
