gentlemen here is a thought: simply stop addressing and responding to BTC'ers on X.

they know they have no utility other than that of being a supposed SOV. the assumption of perpetual appreciation, however, makes for spectacularly dubious economic foundations. if it has worked more or less for a decade or so rests merely on first mover advantage and is not even accompanied by a minimally acceptable user experience. thus the SOV use case has to be perpetually supported by narrative.

by engaging with BTC'ers you are helping them satisfy their perpetual narrative needs. but when the weight of economic reality brings their SOV fantasy crashing down — i assure you — your interlocutors will quietly disappear. they will not admit error, they will not correct course: they will just drop out behind their usernames and disappear.

meanwhile the BSV ecosystem will have continued to build real use cases. you'll still be here, talking utility. investors interested in this sort of thing will be looking for discussions about this, not about that. so cut BTC'ers out of the conversation already. they think they won. you can even tell them they won. but their victory is pyrrhic.

added bonus: your ignoring them will make them furious and make them spew even more nonsense. this accelerates their departure.

"Rockwallet is not 100% safe to hold BSV.

As per their Terms, Rockwallet waives the right to any loss of coins without compensation - including bankruptcy.

Since Rockwallet has Tether and USDC exposure through their mini exchange, they have added counterparty risk."

"If your BSV (or any) wallet cannot export a private master key, then its not "self custodial" and you dont own nothing. Having Seed Phrases doesnt automatically mean you own that account. As long as they hold the master private key, your seed phrases are moot"

Subject: Bullshit in the pipeline

Stablecoins will happen in the U.S. because BlackRock and the banks want them to happen.

This could not be more obvious.

The new BlackRock BUIDL fund on Ethereum is a high bandwidth pipeline between U.S. Treasuries and USDC.

Pipelines will bring trillions onchain.

The USDC issuer Circle is (likely) will IPO soon. BlackRock has ownership in Circle.

The banks will backdoor themselves into stablecoins - by acquiring/partnering/controlling crypto native companies - and they'll lobby for stablecoin legislation and make it happen along the way.

The US does not have the political will to build a central bank digital currency. They're create one defacto through private bank issued stablecoins on public crypto networks like Ethereum.

As long as we preserve open, permissionless, decentralized protocols like Ethereum at the bottom of the stack - then crypto wins.

The liquidity and legitimacy from this will make crypto unstoppable.

Don’t be too quick to ‘poo poo’ memecoins: Arthur Hayes
BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes believes the crypto industry should think twice before writing off all memecoins as “stupid and valueless.”

“You can poo-poo these things as stupid and valueless, but if it brings attention and more engineers to the space, it’s positive value for the chain itself.”
“The chains that can support this culture are going to be the chains that have value,” Hayes said — adding that Solana and Ethereum stood as the most well-positioned networks to capture the flow of attention from memes

🐸🥽👀 @3 @4
Similarly, network and development activity on Bitcoin has grown significantly after a flood of BRC-20 tokens and Ordinals on the network around the same time.

"Level the playing field" 😂

Cobie Launched Crypto Angel Investor Platform
2024-03-31 23:00
Well-known crypto trader Jordan Fish, known online under the pseudonym Cobie, has started beta testing Echo, his newly created crypto angel investor platform.

The platform is a way for crypto investors to join together in groups and make collective investments in crypto projects. The idea is to provide a unified network supporting angel investments in the crypto space, which has traditionally been fragmented.

"Echo is brand new and probably not going to work. But any effort to level the playing field and increase access to early stage crypto investing seems like it’s worth a shot. So maybe we will fail but hopefully it will be an admirable failure. Cheers Tim," said Cobie over Telegram. "It’s important to me you include 'cheers Tim' in the article."

According to Fish, Echo is "only available to self-certified qualified/sophisticated investors," and regional rules may apply. "For example, Singapore residents will be subject to different rules to Japan residents and so on," he explained on X.

When users sign up, they must answer a "very long" questionnaire about their investing history. "We rely on those answers and your self-certifications to understand if Echo is right for you," Fish noted.

"Big data was BSV’s big idea. It’s a damn good idea. It’s also an idea that no other network is chasing, primarily because their technology can’t even promise what BSV can already deliver."

Im X suspended so can someome please DM @rightanglenews on X during Leon Trotsky's great grand daughter Nora Volkow's tenure at CDC and NIDA (National Institute on Drug Abuse) tenure:

  1. 2003ish Orlaam aka "LAAM" (like Methadone but only 3x weekly) was forced off the market on trumped up QT prolongation heart safety risk allegations (that have been associated with Methadone since the 70s)
just as the Suboxone Cartel was gearing up to monopolize opiate use disorder treatment - and the pain management market post DATA2000 - aka the Suboxone Bill to downgrade bupe to schedule 3 that was sponsored by Biden in 2000 and handwritten by Charles Okeefe (Chuck was 3x WH Drug official, oversaw Vietnam soldier tox screens, was pivitol in WHO putting weed as a schedule 1 drug, and was President of Reckitt Beckhizer aka Indivior aka bupe suboxone from 1992-2003)

  2. 2004 when CDC was up for Congress refunding - in a meeting Nora Volkow backed up panel member Charles Okeefe's evidence based bullshit with the claim that no evidence exists that 12 step (AA NA etc) programs aid in the treatment of addiction - and only "evidence based treatment" like suboxone should be federally funded. In other words AA and NA were direct competitors of suboxone and Nora and Chucky wanted the $$$ oxygen supply cut off from any 12 step based treatment programs.

  3. Nora Volkow sat by when the boots on the ground Methodone clinics - as the pill mill crisis began ramping up - had a nervous breakdown when they learned that suboxone was only schedule 3 take home if an addict got the script from a suboxone doctor they had the cash to pay for - methadone clinic patients suboxone remained schedule 1 with no take homes - Chucky baked that into Data2000 because Methadone clinic issued takehome suboxone would be much harder to divert to street sales.

  4. Nora Volkow sat by while the definition of addiction was changed to make almost every pain patient in America an addict - that of course needed to be treated with only suboxone for pain AND addiction - Trouble is suboxone aka bupe only works for pain in microdoses and it was originally a commercial flop for pain so it was relegated to a pet pain reliever - so they added naloxone to the generic bupe to turn it into patented suboxone for heroin addiction tx.

That's just the short list.
