I know for a fact Hal didn’t start it because he introduced the insane notion of the 1 MB block and Bitcoin client was windows xp sp2 compiled at the time. Hal is a well known Linux guy.
Who is scronty and what was the code a rewrite of? It seems entirely new to me at least. I mean you would need to run it for a while before you could rewrite it IMO.

Nope, I think it was entirely the work of Dave Kleiman, the original code of Bitcoin is the work of one person.

I just am telling you as a computer science professional who is good enough the recognize the style of other programmers. CSW is not a programmer, he's an ideas guy.
