Even if BTC sucks as money, now or in an uncertain future, it still may be the least costly medium for longer t's. When I hold BTC I don't bet on it becoming global money (hyperbitcoinization). Fernando works with Lightning iirc and is equally skeptical.
BTC, like BSV, is a MoE. It is not a very good MoE for short time periods, but a MoE nonetheless. Remember, for any given t, it is the total costs of economic exchange that people attempt to minimize. Not all is about the actual transactions.

If Bitcoin always go up against equity, there would be no farmers in the fields and people would starve. They only work the fields if it's more profitable to lend towards production (equity), than to hodl.
