I've had enough of this now. Having to worry people will put 1-stars on my books on Amazon or Goodreads for having a dissenting opinion.

Most Bitcoiners now think the value of money is "everything" divided by the monetary units. People wear this proudly on t-shirts.
There are actual Bitcoin thought leaders thinking Bitcoin will alway appreciate more than equity. So no one will lend for production then. No one will grow the food I guess, or make stuff. Delusional.
There are so many aweful people in Bitcoin. And the avg IQ has constantly dropped as price has been going up. Not that fun interacting anymore.
If you are open with having sold your Bitcoins, people would turn on you like psychopaths. It's a really toxic climate now.

That's starting from scratch. I think people prefer to transfer accumulated savings to a money they deem superior. Only for those who don't have savings does it not matter.
Does Bisq even do any volume? Never quite understood how they could be connected to fiat on-ramps in a decentralized fashion. Seems weird.
- Get BSV delisted everywhere.
- Start BSV exchange yourself.
- Profit?
These crazies are really over-represented here on Twetch.
We all know Patterson is the first one to go. First he wakes the wrath of Craig by letting Scronty spill the beans. Then he lectures Scronty on "muh roads". He made two Satoshis annoyed in one go.
Wth does more lawsuits have to do with the hints he gave? Oden? Saturn? It's like if a Tarot card mystic threw a tantrum in court.
I'm in Spain, and remember a time when small business owners did not have to beg to be allowed to work, with cry emoticons. "Ayuda" means help.
Oops, looks like Calvin already mentioned this.
Having less than minimal knowledge, my guess is they got some new exchange licensed. With proper fiat on-ramps, you don't have to start the money from scratch by accumulating new profit seeking.
I'm having an easier time figuring out who Satoshi is, than understanding who Roy Murphy is and why everybody is making fun of him.
Soonta Clause gives you coal no matter if you've been good or bad.
The funniest moment in the Scronty interview is when Scronty describes Craig as a diligent errand boy gopher, and try to make it sound like a compliment. 🔥
Peter may have had it coming. But bank monopoly on business account creation is very unjust. I was rejected in 2018 and so was not allowed to start a Bitcoin-related business. That is, doing specific crypto analyses, not even dealing with actual coins.
I recommend following Isaac's advice. Sure, they still manage to make you angry or sad once in a while, but on the whole your mental state is so much better by not touching the news.
@4179 do you know if there is any other explanation for landing on 21M out there, than Scronty's?
The guy loves sci-fi (multiple Asimov refs). He has a pre-09 asteroid mining fiction story on his archived webpage. Of course he would go for something with base 42 (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy).
Did Satoshi ever post about why 21M was chosen? Because if not, Scronty's explanation becomes much more interesting.
Doesn't it seem farfetched to you? Money is hard, and Bitcoin is even harder. I think bad suggestions are all over the place in the space, and bound to come to Bitcoin as well in various shapes.
The reason I am generally skeptical of Bitcoin conspiracy theories is mainly incentives. For "rent seeker" services to make sense, Bitcoin must be highly congested. The rent seeker would have been better of holding BTC than lending for production (equity).
Its like instead of doing 100x, a cabal use every shadowy trick in their sleeve to gain a total of 10x in rent seeking. Great!
Some wild stuff in there, thanks for sharing. About the RBF thing, why would the guy from the 3-letter agency say he is from one?
I don't think it's a long shot to extrapolate the various court cases to many a sad what-ifs, but I guess we will see about that.
Oh, I took that just as a hypothetical example. Perhaps a better one; if he for whatever imaginable reason sued the Twetch people tomorrow, that does not necessarily mean BSV utility would have declined by other means, had CSW been gone instead.
"I own the Bitcoin database" coupled with the cases is enough for me to infer future troubles, but you are correct that it is not evidence per se.
