I don't think any government law nor action can really force people to act honestly when they are in a system that incentivizes dishonesty.

So Twitter & co are just going to better hide their censorship practices, shadowbanning instead of banning etc.

yes I think they are just going to find new ways to silence people without outright banning them, shadowbanning is going to skyrocket

I remember shadders saying it was CSW that hinted at this first to allow nchain devs to work it out, but am not 100% sure I remember correctly, can anyone confirm or deny ? is craig in the patent ?

19nTUy…4gwv Key · twetch

yes I don't think twetch has to worry about being subject to this,

but they could have to worry that if twitter cannot censor any longer, people will have less incentive to move to twetch?

this is very interesting, but if someone pays with a wallet that doesn't manage peer-to-peer transactions, then all the money is left on the primary paymail right ?

Would it be possible to automate a sending to the payees in that case too, as a 2nd step ?

It is always important to evaluate if entertaining & spending time on theories improves your life

Very often you realize that they have 0 or negative impact to your life, even long term

If you can't help him see that, letting go is right

The root of production is man's mind; the mind is an attribute of the individual and it does not work under orders, controls and compulsion, as centuries of stagnation have demonstrated.

Craig created Bitcoin but it is our responsibility to make a better world with it.

defeating the media's ability to spread propaganda has become an essential part of ensuring the survival of civilization.

Bitcoin might literally be our only bridge over the pit of anarchy.

Civilization. Setting men free from men.

A thin layer of ice upon a deep ocean of chaos & darkness.

So precious and fragile. How can I preserve you ?

"Peace be with you."

Wise words.

was watching this live, feels great to see humanity resume human spaceflight through more private funding.
Can't wait for space to become a huge part of the free market.
The universe is abundant.

This could be the time when the community actually turns into a society

learning that we don't have to agree on everything to work together for our own benefit

that we don't need that for bsv to succeed

Imagine the signal that it would send

twetch#561 6.4y

What we need more of in BSV is more public drama, clashes & infighting

To prove that it doesn't fucking matter

To prove that on a set-in-stone protocol that scales, everything is turned into productivity growth

Volcanos create the most fertile soil

personally I can't wait for the BSV chain to be clogged

I have been waiting for the past 2 years, how long do you think it will take ?

19nTUy…4gwv Key · twetch

that's my conclusion too.

I believe Ayn Rand understood that, and that's why she never did politics but decided to write books to help people improve their values. Especially fiction, because it speaks deeper into the mind.

Values drive the world.

twetch is an exponential scam the more you twetch the more you feel rich and want to twetch more until the entire ponzi collapses and everyone is now on twetch without realizing they were.

19nTUy…4gwv Key · twetch

can totally see that happenning. I have been tagging him a lot on twitter to make him notice Twetch but he hasn't yet. He will be amazed by it when he finally takes a look

exactly, they allow us to monetize the web at the lowest level: you can pay to read just 1 article, no need to subscribe.

It also allows the platforms to earn fractions of a cent from each interaction instead of selling you to advertisers!

19nTUy…4gwv Key · twetch

You can get banned from interfaces.

Metanet creates a competition. When all countries agree they can delete content with an international court order.

Competition keeps governements in check (censorship resistance) while still allowing law enforcement.

‘An individual’s values, a company’s mission, and a nation’s constitution, all attract long term players playing long term games.‘

yes it's a way to monetize the web at a microlevel, and remove the need for monthly subscriptions as the only way to monetize.

It also aligns incentives of the website to serve its users, not the advertisers. Advertisers become a small part of users.
