If they are smart Twetch will create a market for "plugins" in twetch in the form of different sorting & feed ranking algorithms.
People will pay to use the one that best fits them.
All would profit, & no accusations of manipulating what gets views.

this does not mean that it is the best solution in all contexts. A flat fee was just the best solution for the phone industry at that time. You also now have the ability of offer both a flat rate and a per use fee. Different people like different offers
"resource-based" implies that economy is just based on supply, which is dumb. You always have to weight supply with demand, everything exists in balance with its complementary opposite.
When you expect someone else, like the government, to take care of you when in need, you will not prepare for future problems. And when the majority of people think this way, there can be no future for that society.
