Kudos to you for building something that plugs into existing networks. I've been saying BSV needs this to increase adoption.

Those platforms are not free of charge. In business, the customer is who pays you. Their customers are ADVERTISERS. They serve advertisers by drawing in users. Users are the product. Users are paying in many ways.
For most people, social income and social expense will be a net wash.
CityOnChain has added ability for social investment. Dir.sv also has some of this. There are many ways to do this concept.
It's too bad that most BSV leaders don't realize this appeal
Thanks. What happens the day somebody famous signs up here and brings along 100K followers?
If the microtransaction infrastructure stalls on certain top users, that user could be like hey this doesn't work good enough, nevermind Let's go back to twitter
If this 'UTXO consolidation' is a legitimate issue for wallets getting thousands of microtransactions, somebody please do a full technical write-up about the problem and possible solutions (that don't require a user to generate consolidation transaction)
sounds like BSV'ers:
everybody build their own API stack
everybody build their own wallet
everybody build their own social app
everybody build their own payment forms
Good to drop tips. Boost is good. paymail tips are good.
For me, adding moneybutton support was big. I would never use the old goog/twit login.
The first point is to get people to embrace alt-tech. They need to see its value. The second point is to get them to embrace BSV as the pinnacle of alt-tech.
Most people who are persuaded to leap from normie tech to BSV are lost to its relevance, IMO.
True😊
Moneybutton on-boards < 10,000 per year
Need to be above 10,000 per month
million dollar problem
When insecurity and security are competing business models between criminals and white hats, all you get is an arms race. You never reach true security.
BSV achieves security because it's built secure with asymmetrical incentives.
idea?: a semi-disposable moneybutton account (email-less) API that is auto-funded by external wallet upon creation and autosweeps to $0 at 24 hours. This wallet is tied into something like https://simplecash.live
where you fund to get a URL then share URL
He's a fake genius. He couldn't get an entry level job where I work. His first interview question would be "Is it OK to design a world computer that runs 15 TPS?" Once he failed that question, he'd get a tour of the office cafeteria.
Often where BSV'ers are using the term microtransactions when discussing benefits, I think it would be more useful to use the term 'microrevenue'.
People can understand that microrevenue at social network scale could add up to a lot for them.
The regulatory burdens before computing existed were quite high.
Not only do we have computers nowadays , but blockchain can do 95% of the regulation work for you.
If you built a blockchain framework for this that got popular, the SEC would come destroy your life. But meanwhile, SEC doesn't do anything about Wall Street dishonesty. SEC exists to advantage Wall Street over Main Street, and advantage NYC over USA.
I'd like the SEC's regulatory framework to be inverted. Mom and Pop businesses should be able to issue liquid securities < $100K annually. An 18 year old who wants to paint should be able to buy his ladders and truck by issuing tradable low dollar bonds.
Every financial disaster is spawned by Wall Street and DC. The SEC response is to get medieval on some nouveau rich guy in Texas. The NYT makes him the new villain. Enron Jeff Skilling, Allen Stanford, Wyly Bros. How many time will America fall for this?
I'd like to see some group challenge that the SEC's almost 90 year old standard of "accredited investor" on the grounds that it is unconstitutional.
Eligibility to participate in a voluntary action based upon income or wealth is not OK.
I think the argument for Pay is that the social network has more ability to pull big fish who then pull more people to the network. If someone can get 100,000 free follows, they might be happier with 10,000 paid follows.
Is there another argument for Pay
Give me a follow. My following is in the basement.
/pay @2540 $1 thanks for the great ElectrumSV wallet
too often we see daily twetch states like:
follows: 151 newUsers: 99
this says the ratio of follows per user has been dropping as most new users don't have enough BSV to follow people.
It seems that the 'pay to follow' model is hurting the social graph.
when Charlie Lee joins in 🤣
What is better, or most preferred, for social Following?
Comments?

It's more difficult to learn new things as I get older, in terms of the mental effort and motivation required. However, I have the benefit of being better at knowing what I ought to learn.
The ephemeral online world created by YT, FB, Twitter and TikTok will soon found out that they themselves were no different than the 1000s of viral clips they hosted. It is in the nature of what they built.
$BSV, the ledger, and Twetch are the opposite
I think Gilder's reasoning would apply OK to a currency.
How do you start up an economic system from a digital commodity if you are trying to deprive people from being able to speculate on it.
I like CSW's view that on a 40 year curve, it'll work out.
I doubt that. Everybody watched Gilder's London CoinGeek presentation.
Gilder wants what he sees as ideal money.
Gilder wants what a nation-state is unlikely to do- remove power from their currency.
Even by his own ideas, Bitcoin system is about a lot more than money.
My view is that the Bitcoin system only has to be better than other public information systems to replace the others.
