What is your preferential way of earning BSV ?
For 1st option, include the best sense, i.e. being a thought leader or a creative meme-maker
Both 1st & 2nd include $ from fees, tips, ads, subscription

I say that last comment to preface that I believe that unwriter might be developing his business where he puts the highest value on relationships. This can actually enable the best profits in the long run. So consider his powping model in that light
First company I worked for sold transactionally, i.e. new product as better, faster, cheaper. Profit was a struggle. Business was bought by more successful company. They sold it as solutions to your problems. They made high profit with the same products.
Coincidentally, I onboarded a new person at the end of last week with 'hey get moneybutton and try these' with links to both.
The person found traction with twetch, not the other. The UX, the branch, probably lots of reasons
There is a problem of top BSVers not listening to its users.
Random BSV guy the other day: "I LOVE that app"
Elitist BSVer: scoff, dismissed it in past tense, called it "ghost town"
Dealing with performance engineers who clearly never worked in the code... They seem to think spinlocks are just little monsters put there to be mean. If any spinlock function shows up in their tools, "AHHH Take it out! Take it out!"
Later I was to trying to redevelop it where people in the future would prefer the internet in a user-centric way. This was like social networking a few years before it existed. I quit on that as I got drawn into autonomous agents, which is a bottomless pit
19 years ago I was alone an apartment in a state were I didn't know anybody spending all my time alone on a project idea to build a distributed P2P content exchange network that would pull from web server nodes. RSS was of course key part. But, I quit
George Gilder quote from Life After Google:Google is hierarchical. Life after Google will be heterachical. Google is top-down. Life after Google will be bottom-up. Google rules by the insecurity of all the lower layers in the stack. A porous stack allows
When BSV is popular, what if there is an IG-like app but wallet sizes are prominently displayed next to every user comment and can be filtered? High value single women might love it, which means everybody will be using it. Peacocking gone wrong.
At a nightclub a guy who rolls up in a Lambo gets a lot more attention. For these tip-based BSV sites, I wonder how long 'til there's a "Who to Friend" app, that looks up people's moneybutton so people can find $ to befriend. Perhaps fee system is better
(not "allows") ... enables the money and power to be sucked up to the top. In life after Google, a secure ground state in the individual human being, registered and timestamped in a digital ledger, will prevent this suction of hierarchical power.
Or maybe we'll just degrade online to where everybody goes full peacock: All users wallets are prominently displayed in the app so successful males can get themselves swarmed with attention.
People using 2nd and 3rd tier social apps are already users of an alternate platform. If they are on the 3rd tier like Gab, they are looking to get beyond the norms. They are far more likely to try out BSV. Don't waste time talking BSV on Twitter.
If top tier socials are like Twitter, FB, IG, WeChat, and 2nd tier socials are like Telegram and VK, then Gab and Parler would be 3rd tier. Still Gab gains more users every week than all of BSV gains in a year.
I tried to see whether random me can come here and easily gain followers. Two people followed me first and I happily followed back. Nobody else did, so I'm racking up the unfollows. There are problems with the social graph here.
I came to Twetch last week bearing gifts of love , i.e. other new users.
Kevin Pham is a good contrarian thinker.
There were times when I thought he was just gaming controversy, but later I saw he had good points.
Anybody can look up my very active moneybutton history over the last year. I'm just one guy talking.
Let's wash away the whole Amazon/Fb/Google mess, AWS and all.
so I'm saying people are incorrectly attributing all sorts of things to actually what is a consequence of the pool of BSV users.
1 being the size of the pool.
2 being that there are 1000 BSV enthusiasts following 50 well-liked people wherever they go.
Social networking models the main consumer BSV avenue today.
My hot take from today: A surprisingly few BSV people in the last year have though much about the distinction between social expense and social investment
I wasn't going that far because I think there are alternative paths for consumer BSV and social. However, I absolutely get your sentiment about what is resonating with people at this time.
Lest anybody in BSV is feeling full of themselves, reminder that nobody in BSV has come close to cracking the consumer user count nut.
Maybe a lot of the conventional wisdom being promoted for the past year about BSV social networking was off target.
if moneybutton had 1 million sign-ups, Twetch, Powping and CityOnChain would have 6 figures of users.
also, if the top 50 people from Twetch and Powping left for a 3rd new app, Twetch and Powping would both be crickets in a week.
At the end of 2019, BSV Developer enthusiasm in China was visibly high and growing, yet it all seemed to evaporate quickly. What was the main reason for this?

The strength of the social graph is reflected by a cumulative baseline of 8.2 Follows per User. Any day like today, which is 9.6, strengthens it.
I still say Twetch needs to make an adjustment to dramatically improve this ratio.
Twetch's problem is the 10 cent Follow bc it impacts the social graph. The value of a social network derives from the number of connections. Low Follows = fewer connections. New users have low Follower counts so gain less value, and then leave. solvable
I don't say this to pick on anybody. I'm saying one side (BSV) is usually making a technology argument. The resistance on the other side is often rooted in the sociopolitical even when they don't admit to that.
Not sure it was worth sharing that LARPing clown. He was a waste of my time to listen to.
