I remember making the squiggle drawings and then paint-bucket-filling the intersection areas.
ProCreate on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pen is my preferred setup for digital painting. That's what I've been using for about a year. Before that I was using a Wacom Tablet + Photoshop on a PC.
The iPad way is better/intuitive.

I can respect people that are willing to pay to get their message out, but there are some accounts that just couldn't pay enough to get on my "following" feed
The previous 3 years were maple sprouts "liberated" from the sidewalk dirt. Then lost 'em to herbicide spraying from neighbors and others.
Now I'm using a kit with a couple different kinds of pines and such.
