Twetch has been blessed with an active community that is literally throwing money at them. They sell on the ability to profit, but taking a 50%??? haircut pretty much makes that impossible. It's just unfocused really, seems predatory in a way.

It's not clear that the platform will survive past novelty/charity, the fees seem to be random. If a Twetch with 10x smaller fees appeared I'd go there in a heartbeat.
Check the docs out. https://docs.twetch.app/docs/protocol-introduction
I agree with you. The project is technically awesome, however it's not really optimized yet and seems unfocused in how it solves users problems and delivers value. That being said, I am here to signal my support for something vaguely like this on BSV.
Can people Stockholm syndrome themselves?
"I run the system, so an attack on me is an attack on the system"
Seems like an easy trap to fall in to.
whoa. Guess everything looks a lot more risky right now. EVERYTHING.
Does a collectable have to be about a widely known event/phenomenon for it to appreciate in value?
Sometimes the legend is bigger than the event when it happens.
There is transparency and higher accountability for those who are trusted with privilege's that are only exercised in a narrow range of situations.
Where does my right to act interfere with your right to act? Big groups delegate these investigations.
Sure, you use democracy to define exceptions. The paradox of rights needs to be resolved somehow.
With Chimps, then the groups get too big, they spend about 50% of their time social grooming so they have a relationship with each one. Once it becomes so big you can't relate to all the others, you need to delegate decision making,
10 is a pretty small number to generalize from. Therefore, democracy.
Would twetch be better or worse with fees 10x lower?
solana test
Absolutely, and no celebrities + influencers.

Your project is sure to be a success when people asking who your audience is, and why they'll like it, gets parsed as trolling.
Why is making people Boost a better gaming experience for existing players? Seems to be Boost to win, except that the one with the most money wins every time.
It's neat to imagine a complex self sustaining economy. But who wants that, aside from you?
The wow marketplace works because wow is a fun and immersive and addicting game to play. Is this?
time = money, so, no.
You're describing what it can do instead of the problem it solves. Why do players want to use boost?
What existing problem for consumers does this solve?
I hope they are successful in their efforts, whatever they may be! BSV needs to integrate more with the crypto community, but doing so on exchanges is a risk. This is a great idea! Compete on utility and user experience.
Interesting video, not sure the twetch guys are helping out here.
BSV is as good as the people who build on it. Any framework is really.
The BSV trump card is that you can do all these things on one system with infinite interoperability between them.
BSV = IPFS^SOL opposed to IPFS + SOL
I also like how the small fee disincentives activist spam, which is a huge problem for users on other social media sites. However, I'm not sure if the fees here are optimized to solve that problem or why they are the way they are. It's still unfocused.
Quality over Quantity is kinda the point. To be fair, it's not clear what user problems twetch specifically solves. It is cool though.
Is tether failing now?
You prefer a different they.
That is very interesting, I'll have to take a look. Although, I am hesitant to trust a bioRxiv preprint investigating the possibility of something, as justification for calling mRNA genetic modification in a wholesale way.
The RNA doesn't incorporate into your double helix strand of DNA. It floats around in the cell, in it's unstable single stranded state, while ribosomes build the proteins it codes for until the unstable RNA degrades.
mRNA doesn't modify your genes
Hmmm, I'd say it's like particle physics.
Systemic errors create unexpected readings. But the chance of getting a false reading after a ton of data is insignificant.
