Hit me up, I'd be happy to explain some things if I can.

I see that side of things for sure. I definitely get a kick out of Cobra's tweet about assassination markets getting brought up everywhere.
Never let a good crisis go to waste.
If BSV is responsible for the actions of one person, then BTC is also responsible. Maybe we should agree with him? Air out all our stories of being harassed by BTC and agree that it's BTCs duty to purge those people.
I think it's possible someone did threaten him, quite a few unhinged ppl on the internet, but his way of handling it, making a public announcement seems like it's for a spectacle. If we publicly deny and shame him the spectacle will continue, in his favor.
I got to chat with the guy for a few minutes, after a few tricky questions he basically admitted he's just looking to ride the speculative wave. He's an arbitrage guy, it makes sense.
no
Hey there @27648 If you want to get started with BSV, the native currency of this platform, check out:

Follow @7145 , he does giveaways here and on Twitter. Cheers!
Meme markets are a measurement of the expressions of the collective Id.
The concept of value being contained within these expressions is already recognized in big SM tech business models.
They don’t want you to know how valuable your memetic energy is.

Overall, I think he understands things pretty well. BSV can satisfy his requirements easier than BTC, and he sees the value in non-BTC assets. He only views it as a financial instrument, he doesn't know how useful the tx's are. What do you think?
- While greater regulation might help Bitcoin gain broader institutional acceptance, it could also trigger selling by some of its largest existing owners who prioritize a lack of public oversight around the asset.
- Bitcoin is a bearer asset (i.e., ownership is determined by possession of a private key alone), raising safeguarding and insurance considerations for institutional asset managers.
- With just over a decade in existence, there is not enough evidence to credibly conclude that Bitcoin, like gold, will reliably offer portfolio diversification in the future.
- For instance, Bitcoin has significantly outperformed Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Monero—other major cryptocurrencies with similar technical features to Bitcoin in terms of having a fixed total supply and an emphasis on ideas of “sound money.”
- Since the way Bitcoin works is fixed, it won’t be able to evolve and I presume that a better alternative will be invented and pass it by. I see that as a risk. For those reasons the “limited supply” argument isn’t as true as it might appear.
- While I recognize that Bitcoin can be held offline via “cold storage,” I understand it is difficult to do and few people do. By Bitcoin being digital and connected, it is not protected against cyber risks.
This risk comes from off chain scaling, imo
it is hard for me to imagine that they would allow Bitcoin (or gold) to be an obviously better choice than the money and credit that they are producing.
'Volatility is a problem, therefore it's only speculation'
BTC wants volatility, BSV does not
Interesting highlights from Ray Dalio's take on Bitcoin.

- When I use “Bitcoin” please take that to mean Bitcoin and its analogous competitors.
Hey there @27011, what do you think of the site? What do you think of this comment?
the less money there is, the more important money is
the more abundant money is, the less important it becomes
the dream of "a world without money" is only accomplished in an hyper-monetized world where opportunity is reachable everywhere by anyone

So what you're saying is that we can skim some money from BCH holders and sell it for BSV? Nice.
I heard 50k users but as you say since they are distributing thousands $ of money every day to maintain it I wouldn't bet much on the value of such a community, still interesting to see them try to compete!
It's not a scam, it's a very serious technical achievement that can provide a venue for novel human interactions, that haven't been seen over the internet before.
There are also many interesting features. I can set up a troll toll that charges certain users more for interacting with me, so trolls have to pay me for the privilege, again if you game it right you can make dollars. Explore, it's early, but interesting.
No, Twetch can censor you if you're doing illegal things. If they do however, you won't lose your data, as it is stored on the blockchain, every interaction here is. So you can copy it to other apps or just keep it for your own reference. The real value...
Is that you can earn money from every interaction, and from every interaction your interactions spawn. If you can seed meaningful interactions that create activity, you get money for each one. If you game it out properly, you can make some dollars.
It uses BSV, the worlds most hated cryptocurrency as the base currency for it. You can earn and use BSV in many ways, check them out here.

That should get you started :P
How long until the WSB crowd get's labelled as terrorists? I can see it now:
"Nothing is more American than a fair stock market, this is a literal attack on American values and an attempt to overthrow our institutions. People are getting hurt by this."
Hell yes my friend, it is the beginning of history. Lots of work to be done though.
The big thing with BSV is that you won't be able to link your behavior between apps without you giving permission because Bitcoin=magic and @4 = genius.
Twetch costs -ve if you work it right.
I don't think free social media will go away, it'll just be a way worse product. It's like you can buy fancy new gum, or cheap old dusty gum.
The longer facebook waits to move on twetch, the more it will cost them.
