Most importantly, don't forget the pronunciation as we have no guesses how to say SOURSOP.

We really like the pronunciation of "LEVANT" that Word$mith 46261@moneybutton.com created-- accents are one of the best part of communallySourced definitions. Seek "levant" www.SLictionary.com to hear it!
We'll build on this pronunce-accent strength later
Word of the Week: November 5, 2021
Welcome students at @60685
Get ready to have the world's best vocabulary!
Dear WordBarons, your tokens are being created, but there's a bug in reading them from the Stas api. In order to prevent confusion, we're going to wait on having them be fully operational. This will only affect REDEEM and TRANSFER functions in near term
Word$mith payouts for last weeks (thru today) bounties will occur tomorrow, Friday. We also made a small math error in posting the bounties, all of them should be about $1 (for bounties < $11) less, or 10% less (> $11), but we will pay everyone list.
Winning hint: remember to include an audio recording to protect your entry, as every bit counts in the voting-- same goes for picture inclusion.
You can be creative with audio too; for example, in "YAWN" U could include an actual yawn after pronouncing it
The definition for "porn" in the multi-dollar Word Bounty is rather poor because it contains no picture or audio. An easy win for anyone who gives it a try-- and remember to keep it clean for the kiddies, think about "Hide from Children" option!
Yes, we see what you mean, it's awkward for sure. This is why we only charge 1 penny to submit a definition tho, it allows you to simply "re-do" to correct a mistake. This works well for WordBaronries bc the baron can redeem definitions she doesn't like.
Thanks Boss. The new 'Word Barons' feature has really blown up the chance to 'earn' BSV. Lots of triple digit 'Bounties' now. Just $2 to own a word in perpetuity and 'earn' passive income from it's definition & lookup is an inspired idea.👍
It's probably easier to just learn with us. I like it when a bounty has multiple meanings submitted-- like the football conference definition for "conference". I voted for that one a couple times, but alas, my favorite was not everyone's favorite!
79, we think it's best to submit TWO definitions, 1 for the noun & 1 for the verb. For mortgage there's only the [noun]. Try writing another whole definition for the verb, & it should list [verb] above that definition. To double your chances, submit both!
You'd prolly be wasting your time trying to compete with #1 Word$mith @1117 but prior to the $100 "conference" bounty the $21.21 on "EARN" was the new record.
There's only two submissions (cost=1¢ to enter) on EARN...
BUT, one of them is SyDomb 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks, will look into it.
Assuming you selected noun or verb, we DO record that, but maybe we aren't showing it? Will check.
Happy Birthday Us!
www.SLictionary.com turns ELEVEN today with its 1,024th word.
We celebrate every doubling of words defined & it's been awhile.
To celebrate we'll be:
Sending out $1.024 to the #WORD$MITH who defined the 1,024th word
#WORDSMITH champ @1117 doesn't leave his flank exposed by including a picture in his definitions.
Dis why he #1
Notice his pic "GOT LIT" on his picture whereas competitor has no pic.
WordBarons went live last night!
If you make a Word Bounty for >$2.00 then YOU will end up owning ALL of the definitions created during your Word Bounty contest. It's like buying properties in the game Monopoly-- you'll collect "rent" on owned definitions.
The first commercial STAS token technology was implemented Wednesday October 6, 2021 at SLictionary.com at about 22:00.
We're proud to be breaking new ground & pushing hard on the leading edge of BSV technology.
On October 6th 2021,
SLictionary.com will release its 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘀 on @8327 and you'll see why INFORMATION-HODL won't be like HODL.

You should also define "trey" in OUR dictionary-- costs just one penny (for now) and just two 💡 "likes" returns your money back plus 40% extra. Even if it took 2 years for that 2nd like it'd be a fantastic ROI.
Congrats to @54288 for being SLictionary's very first milestone winner with his 1,000th definition of "RANDOM" (so random 🤷♀️)!

The long term ROI on upcoming #SLicDefs for WordBaron$ will be higher than returns on #BSV, save your money for #Roctober release!
Smithing definitions is just a penny-- two 💡to make 40% return.
But smithing definitions won't always be just 1 penny.
