Got TONS of projects accomplished over the past couple weekends. Front yard is finally converted to decorative rock (those goat-heads can kiss my ass). Thought I'd be in the clear from projects… nope! 😅

Oh my. It’s back!

Kids TeeBall is pretty badass. Concession stand nachos kinda vibes.

We’re going to do ¾ of our back yard too. Grass isn’t native where we live so… why fight it and waste water. We only want a small spot for the little one to walk on near the trampoline.

This was a nasty dirt patch last spring. It’s coming around quite nicely.

The yard was also solid goat-heads. Slowly but surely! (Side note: No, the satellite dish isn’t hooked up. Had plans to use it for something else but… the hardware for the alteration doubled in price.)

Exercise in patience… drilling through diamond plate for days on end… with a cordless drill and a hole-saw.

Fitting a modern refrigerator in a home built in 1936, that has only had light remodeling done… that was a fun cabinet alteration 😅

Finally got the rock for the front of the house. Sure glad my brother in-law has a dump truck, and we can go directly to the quarries around us… saved a LOT.

*side note. Don't use tap water… use distilled water to start. You can use tap water after they sprout but, the distilled water is better at seed stage.

Use either "Jiffy Pods" or a moist paper towel. Place either on a window sill and wait for the magic to happen. Transplant to soil after it starts to sprout.

On my feet 13 hours per day as it is so… the gym is important.

Staying out until midnight… and making it into the gym at 5am… holy shit, this is a young person’s game 🤣🤦‍♂️.
